Privacy policy

Last updated August 21, 2026

The honest summary: this site has no forms, asks for no sign-up and sells nothing online. It counts how many visits each page had, with no cookie and no idea who you are. More detailed measurement, the kind that does use cookies, only happens if you accept — and if you decline, the site works exactly the same.

Who is responsible

The person responsible for the data handled on this site is Ramon, tattoo artist, working independently under the name Ramong.art. Under Brazil's data protection law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018), he is the data controller.

Contact details are at the bottom of this page.

What the site collects

Two things, at very different levels.

The first always happens: a visit count with no cookie and no personal identifier (Vercel Analytics). It records that a page was opened, not who opened it — a visit cannot be tied back to you, now or later. Precisely because it identifies no one, it does not require consent.

The second only happens if you accept measurement cookies. Google Analytics then starts recording browsing data:

  • which pages you opened and how long you stayed
  • where you arrived from (search, link, social media)
  • device type, browser and language
  • approximate city, inferred from your IP address — not your street address
  • a few interactions: clicks on WhatsApp buttons, clicks on a portfolio photo, and opening an FAQ question

What the site does NOT collect

There is no form, sign-up, login or payment here. The site never asks for your name, email, phone number or ID number, and stores none of it.

Conversations about quotes happen on WhatsApp, outside this site. What you write there is handled by WhatsApp and by Ramon directly — it does not pass through this site or through Google Analytics.

Cookies, and why the banner exists

Measurement cookies are not essential for the site to work. Under the LGPD that means they depend on your consent — which is why the banner appears before anything is loaded.

Until you choose, Google Analytics simply is not loaded. If you decline, it never loads at all. Your choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage), not in a cookie and not on a server.

You can change your mind at any time, using the link in the footer of any page.

Third-party services

Three external services appear on this site:

  • Google Analytics (Firebase) — measures audience. Loads only with your consent.
  • Google Maps — the location map only loads after you click it. Before that, no data of yours reaches Google because of the map.
  • Vercel — hosts the site and keeps technical access logs, like any server. It also runs the cookieless visit count described above, which works regardless of your choice in the banner.

Your rights

The LGPD guarantees that at any time you may request confirmation that your data is being processed, access to it, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion, information about who it was shared with, and the withdrawal of consent.

In practice, here: since the site stores nothing that identifies you personally, the most common request is simply to withdraw consent — which you can do yourself, through the footer link, without contacting me. For anything else, just write to me.

How long the data is kept

Audience data sits with Google, subject to the Google Analytics retention policy configured on the account. It is aggregated data, used to understand how the audience behaves as a whole — not to identify individual visitors.

Under 18s

Tattoos are only for clients 18 and older, and this site is not directed at children or teenagers.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes — a new service, a different kind of measurement — this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Worth re-reading if you use the site often.
